K-Swiss drops three shoes in collaboration with McLaren
McLaren and LA-based sportswear brand K-Swiss has unveiled its latest footwear collaboration launching May 1.
Tennis performance and heritage brand K-Swiss has revealed three styles of shoe – the Tube Sport, Classic VN (pictured above) and Si-18 – with McLaren detailing and styling.
“K-Swiss worked closely with McLaren in order to customise shoes that met all of the specific needs; and just like that, Tubes shoes became the official 2023 team footwear for all McLaren Racing mechanics, engineers, and VIP staffing,” explained K-Swiss in its press release.
All three of the models come with McLaren’s trademark papaya colour. The heritage Classic VN is white leather with papaya accents. The Tube Sport comes in black transitioning to silver with an orange sole (pictured above) and orange sole with black mid-sole transitioning to papaya.
The Si-18 is the most obvious McLaren shoe with a papaya upper and black midsole and tongue (pictured above).
“We are excited to announce our collaboration with K-Swiss, a brand with so much history,” said Lindsey Eckhouse, Director, Licensing and Digital Products, McLaren Racing.
“K-Swiss understand our team’s need for high-quality, adaptable and comfortable footwear, alongside our passion for pushing boundaries and innovating in all areas.”
There will be three K-Swiss x McLaren product launches throughout the year and will be available to the public for purchase on Kswiss.com, McLaren.com, and for a limited time available for in-store purchase at Addict, a store in Miami.
