Scuderia AlphaTauri and Catawiki launch exciting auctions

F1 Alpha Tauri Catawiki motorsports auction

Scuderia AlphaTauri, in collaboration with Catawiki, the premier online marketplace for unique items, are excited to unveil a unique partnership that gives fans the chance to possess a slice of motorsports gear and Formula 1 legacy.

This year, five online auctions will be conducted, open to all, showcasing an unprecedented over 300 collectible items handpicked by Catawiki’s motorsport connoisseurs. The items span from the F1 team’s past and current seasons, as well as from the Scuderia Toro Rosso and Scuderia AlphaTauri periods. The auctioned items will range from various car components like wheel nuts, flaps, and wings, to drivers’ racing gear, helmets, pit crew uniforms, and even mock-up to actual racing cars that have participated in the Formula 1 World Championship.

Scuderia AlphaTauri and Catawiki aim to make the exclusive charm of Formula 1 accessible to its fans through these auctions. Scuderia AlphaTauri, being a breeding ground for some of F1’s most renowned drivers, serves as a natural entry point into the F1 world. With Catawiki hosting over 75,000 auction items weekly and attracting millions of international buyers, it is the perfect platform to find new owners for these extraordinary items. The escalating popularity of Formula 1 and the growing market for its collectibles go hand in hand. Since 2019, the demand for iconic sports memorabilia on Catawiki has more than doubled, driven by the increasing global interest in F1 sports.

The first online auction’s highlight is the STR11, the same car that competed in the 2016 season when Scuderia Toro Rosso earned 63 points due to the efforts of drivers Max Verstappen, Carlos Sainz, and Daniil Kvyat. The painted bull on the engine cover by Jos Pirkner, a first in any F1 livery, gave the car a distinctive and dynamic appearance.

Fans of Scuderia AlphaTauri’s current drivers, Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries, and past drivers like Sebastian Vettel, Pierre Gasly, Daniel Ricciardo, and Carlos Sainz, have a lot to look forward to. Their driver kits, both autographed and non-autographed, are available for bidding, along with Verstappen’s 2016 worn gear.
